Hello ouddicts,

I hope everyone is ok today and I wish you a glorious day : )
I ordered Malaysian oud chips and 1 ml of Cambodian oil, 3 years aged on OudMarket.
First of all, I had doubts because it was so cheap (27 dollars for 1ml oil and 5gr oud chips and shipping).
I just received my package 1 hour ago and I think these products are quite interesting. Sure, it is not Ensar s quality, but in my humble newbie opinion it worth it.
Have some of you checked these products ?
Regards,

Aleata

Ah Salut l’Ami,

Je m attendais à quelque arnaque mais je suis carrément satisfait !
I can advise oud fans to take a look at their web site.
I just fumigated their wood and it s a good and genuine quality.
As for the oil, nothing to say, it s really really nice! (22dollars for 1ml, 3years aged...so)

Yep,

Thank you peter4ptv for sharing your experience. It reinforced my good opinion of this merchant.
Very interesting web site "OudMarket" indeed. I spoke with one of the man in charge, very nice man.
I thanked him for the products and asked him for indi "animalic" style oil.
He offered me some of his personal collection.
I suggest oud fan to visit their web site, it worth it for sure.
I do not intend to make publicity for this site, just sharing my good and fresh experience with you, dear ou fans.
Have a great day,

Aleata

I have had these for quite some time and love to go back to them every now and then. Among the various samples/oils I've purchased, their Malaysian Oils were pretty amazing for the money, slightly greenish in color and with nice very faint initial smell of petroleum which I absolutely like! Their Cambodian oil was more dark/reddish, very earthy on the top and then fruity and mellow at the dry down. Good price/performance imho.

My nose may not be as good at discerning notes and nuances as some of the other experts here, just my personal thoughts and views :)

I'm browsing this site now and may I just say how very much I approve of this, on their "Visit Us" tab:

It is our duty to educate and encourage understanding of the benefits of cultivated agarwood. We welcome individual/group visits to our farm and distillery in Malaysia. Our farm is just a 30-minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. We can also arrange pickup and suggest itineraries during your visit to Malaysia.

I just received my sample order from Oudmarket. I got Trat AAA, Cambodia Seufi Aged, and Malaysia Aged, of which I've tried the latter two. The Malaysia is earthy and piney with a somewhat menacing funkiness. The Cambodia Seufi is delightful: dried plums, honey, cinnamon and coriander. Colour me very, very impressed.

I bought on Oudmarket and fully satisfied with the shop and the oils. I got some chips too and for the price great smell.
I try the Prachin Super / Trat AAA / Malaysia AA / Malaysia Super.
My fav > Prachin Super : medicinal and deep moist wood. Green boat lost in a jungle. Trat AAA : sweet resin notes of fruits and the dry down is very nice.
Malaysia AA for me is too smokey and now I wear it with roses oil or coffee oil.

I see today following news received in mailbox that most of their oils are unfortunately sold out.... :(

Sold out for good? Or awaiting a new batch? Interesting to see the UK link - I came across the site a while back.

Dont know but I think a new batch will come because they leave the listing online... I need to be careful with the swipe now...

I have bought from them in the past ( 2x)

Quality is good . Their bukhoor mix is very nice (malay rose) . Blends are also nice ( i use their No. 3 very often).

I managed to get some East malay oud oil in my last buy with them. This is a very dark feel type of oil / very earthy .

Pro-tip: their "Oud Luxury" attar is pretty ordinary. The oud oils are great though. I'm really loving the Cambodi Seufi Aged and Trat AAA, and I wish I'd bought bigger sizes when I had the opportunity.
