Had another session with my Green Kinam.

I turned up the heat, enjoyed the aroma, then turned the heater off, then repeated that cycle three times. Each time offered much aroma. True kinam performance, even from young trees.

Kevin sent me pictures of the young kinam trees. I wish I had a garden full of them.

Have you tried the taste test? Does it has any numbing sensation?

For starters, olfactory it is essentially Kyara as Shoyeido’s Kyara, but I never chewed kinam before, so now is as good a time as ever.......just gave it a try.......very bitter!!......
and there’s a topical numbing indeed.

I have tried Kevin’s Green Kyara, it is a nice treat and releases a very nice scent and it is cheap. As far as Kyara/Kinam cheap(80$) per gram. It is hard to compare it to other much more expensive examples as it is fresh and young and did I mention cheap. Nice smell at room temp and it is beautifully resinous . Hope this helps someone

The wood of Kevin is very young, but very aromatic. It’s the best Kyara deal in town.

This makes me wonder about how “old mother trees” are supposed to have agarwood that is better and more complex. Could it be that what really matters, is how aromatic the particular tree is.....and not how old it is? Else, how can a tree so young, smell so good:confused:

Surprice while cleaning a batch of wood..

I found an "ant mass grave" after cracking a piece.. poor lil fellas. I imagine they were a happy family inside the deep jungles. Suddenly they were flying to a cold Europe...

Maybe we are not very different. I mean, my grandparents never thought they would leave their village in Palestine. Yet they had to flee and ended up passing away somewhere else. My parents (who grew up in the refugee camps their parents fled to) never thought they would leave their "new" homes either, but they ended up in another continent altogether. I guess, the same goes for me...

maybe I am just over reflecting. Anyhow, respect to these ants ❤

Another ant hole piece. But no ants inside, just dry eggs.

I am a regular user of sheesha coal and aluminium foil.
Using it properly requires time. I don't use electric heater.
