As a perfumer who uses a lot of the same raw material scents as what is in Dodo, I would also love to hear more about your process and how you came up with this scent!

It honestly came down to playing around with the synthetic Musk and Ambergris components with the Sandalwood molecules I was using until I got that kinda feathery musk note I was going for. At some point they went from smelling “musky” to a kinda “wet” musk note emerged.

The irony is not that for some it’s a little too avian smelling (which is a marvel, in and of itself) - but that when worn - SO many people compliment it. It’s like she said...it’s a kind of green, animalic sexiness that smells woody, musky, and curious.
