If you don't have any attar shops near you, then you can't go wrong with the ones from Maison Anthony Marmin and Mellifluence.Aside from the arabian and indian brands, you maybe able to get a few attars in the $30-60usd/3ml price range from Agarscentsbazaar in the US, who was known for his musk and ambergris blends. Not bought from him in years though, so can't vouch for any of his recent work.

So far I’ve really enjoyed Naaz perfume’s Attar line they’re made by Zakir from Agarwood Assam and are budget materials but they’re also top notch for price in my opinion. I want to make a trip to the Middle East specifically for a scent tour.

Vetiver Blanc (Sultan Pasha) - a tuberose-centric and somewhat soft ambered-leathrery attar, where it's creamy and sensual facets are beautifully complimented by vetiver - a very unique and stunning outcome.

One of my absolute favorites of his. I actually like his lighter works better compared to his heavier scents.

Chypre Narcisse by Sultan Pasha on wrist and neck + Oud Pedu by Agar Aura on the beard. I smell like walking into a exotic jungle right after the rainfall from Chypre Narcisse and the very next moment the smell of pan and oudiness from Pedu is dominant.

Mellifluence Perfume - Sandal Rose 2, and Elixir Attar - Iris Chypre.
both very lovely. I like sandal rose 2 more though.
the opening of Iris Chypre is a bit too 'warm' to my nose. but the middle to end is absolutely gorgeous. what a beautiful Iris note! :Inlove:

Afsana by Agarwood Assam. Plays between sweet fruits and a resinous base. It is absolutely beautiful. Complex yet very approachable.

Rai Munir

Musk Man
Oud Snatal Jasmine Musk Maceration: At least 0.5 ml oil spilt on my shirt, and for the last night, oudy jasmine and musk are everywhere.

This particular maceration is like sailing at night. Oud, jasmine (not loud at all) and musk creates oomph that is the most sought after experience and feel, which is in pure oils only. Nowhere else.

Utter...
I have been blessed enough to receive attar samples created by Marius for the wonderful people at Imperial oud .... I am sure these will be up for sale soon, so keep your eyes out.

They are completely unique and unlike anything I have seen on the market until now. Below is my review of their Rose centred blend. Which is yet to be named.

Rose - created by Marius for Imperial oud

This attar opens up with a very sweet aroma almost like sherbet or those sugar coated fruity sweets. I get tropical fruits of mango, citrus and a jammy rose.

This then dries down and the the supporting savoury notes come into play (clove etc) which takes the edge off the sweetness somewhat but the sweet quality of this attar is still very much the driving force with mango remaining prominent in combination with a sweet jammy rose.

I also get a facet of what I perceive to be Iris? Maybe due to the combination of ingredients?

The attar is very natural smelling, intense and photorealistic... I would imagine this is due to the good use of fixatives and animalics in the composition. There is a warming quality in this, the sort of quality I get when animalics are used carefully and skilfully when the perfumer doesn’t want to overwhelm the composition, but simply wishes elevate what is already there.

Later on a buttery sandalwood appears, the clove becomes more apparent with the Rose humming away in the background...

I would sum this composition up as a fruity, sweet tropical blend with a warming base of sandalwood, Rose and animalics which are used skilfully to uplift the entire composition... I would say the most prominent animalic used here is civet, it suits the composition well and goes perfectly with the clove, jammy rose and tropical fruity combination.

Totally unique and unlike any attar I’ve smelt so far from imperial oud and from any other vendor also. Performance is good on my skin with the attar projecting well for the first couple of hours. I look forward to the official release InshaAllah ❤️
