extraction

Ok so I have about 20 grams of oily resin that I extracted from different sandalwoods and I am thinking about trying to separate the oil from the resin. Who here can shed some light on what chemicals I need to mix and throw the oily resin in? Is this a simple process as was the extraction? Thanks
