Musk pod in cologne

Hello everyone, I’ve owned a bottle of Oud Royale by Ensar Oud (https://www.ensaroud.com/product/oud-royale-perfume/)
for nearly 3 years now and this includes a very old piece of musk.
It’s not the same thing it was when it first came to me.
It is evolving for sure.
I love it even more now than when I first received it.
I also have a concoction of 17 ounces of alcohol with 30 grams of deer musk grains that has been sitting around 6 months now and I am considering adding the skin to my concoction. It works for some people, will it work for me?
What are your thoughts on this?

If you enjoy the Oud Royale with the musk now, why risk it by adding to 17 ounces of alcohol/musk? A better play might be to try a small amount in a sample bottle and let it sit for 6 mos before you "go all in". 6 months should be enough time to have some certainty with your decision. Make sure you measure VERY accurately so you can duplicate your efforts from your sample into a large batch. If you choose to do it. Good Luck
