Oud Fayre Usa 2018

Right... due to popular demand and feedback, we are going to see if we can organise an Oud Fayre for the USA this fall (that’s Autumn for everyone else).

Houston is a great choice, you already have 3 Ouddict members living here, great food, great weather in November. Definitely a good choice. : )

Houston for sure! It's a central location, everything is affordable, and lots of great food!

 

JK, you aren't too far from Houston!

 

I will be in Houston in May for OTC as usual, but making an event in November will be difficult for me as I have ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi.

 

What is OTC? Is it Oud related?

 

Offshore Technology Conference, basically it's the worlds largest Oil Show. It's not Oudh related.

 

I'll be working on this when I get back from Japan in the middle of May.

The question is - "where"?

NYC is a hassle and very expensive. LA is a likely spot.

Any suggestions? I will start reaching out to some venues I have in mind when I get back. Having an idea of how many might be in attendance would be helpful

 

I am in Phoenix. LA would work for me.

 

What about Canada ? Way Cheaper plus when you flip the American dollar to Canadian you get way more , Our currency drops and goes up and drops again like its on Meds , terrible, but Honestly California Sounds amazing and fantastic and LA street Food and some amazing coffee is grown in Cali with incredible flavors , hope I can make it but with Kids and school & day care might have to bring the toddlers ,

Seriously though, you should seriously try and go. The Fayre will be a two day event at most and you will really benefit like we did in the UK.

 

I might be there myself.

 

NorCal here. Would probably make LA.
