"Reusing" infused musk grains?

Hi, awhile back I purchased the 'Musk de Taif' attar from Areej Le Dore. It's a wonderful rose-musk attar with a sizable quantity of musk grains suspended in oil inside the attar bottle itself.

I am coming up on the end of the attar bottle. I'm wondering if it's possible to 'reuse' the musk grains from the bottle. Perhaps tincturing in alcohol? Is it possible that the musk grains could still possess fragrance?

I am a total newbie so I apologize if this is a dumb question, it's just one I have been wondering about. Thanks all.

I'd give it a shot but use food grade ethyl or a particular de-natured with no odor.

I’d try it if I were you… I’ve reused grains but at some point, nothing more can be obtained from them. It all depends on the grains themselves, how long they’ve been used for, how they were used, temperature, etc…
