    Assalamu Alaykm and hello everyone!

For the last of today's wood releases, I present to you:

    Sinking Filipino Agarwood

If you recall last May, we launched Al Hashimi by offering the sickest sinking Filipino Wood. Some even went so far to call it Oud from a different era; but as all things Oud, things are ever changing and never static. It wasn’t long before the jungles of the Philippines were exploited, and some worried they wouldn’t witness the same quality from Tawi Tawi again. Keeping that in mind, at Al Hashimi, we pride ourselves in offering consistency, and as they say: if there’s a will, then there’s a way.

Meet our second batch of Sinking Filipino Agarwood. Where the first batch was a resin-dense craze, this second batch has a lot more to offer. Although not as resin dense as the first batch, the note composition not only serves as a sequel, but also falls in line with our recent Filipino oil, Adan. While our first batch of Filipino wood was an Umami-Tarragon resin dense monster, this second batch keeps that same profile, but only in the most gourmandish appeal possible.

Take those same spices, that same jungle vibe, but tone it down to delicacy and wrap it in a perfectly balanced honey and cream. Keep it heated and you’re hit with fresh mint, giving way to the most decadent tobacco-like aroma. To all the people who have tried Adan, if you thought Adan was the perfect representation of Filipino wood, well…this wood is the perfect representation of Adan.
