As the winter months are approaching, what are the best smoky oud oils out there?

I like sweet Thai from Oudimentary, it has a nice Dried fruit/ smoke top note and a nice smoky heart. Last a decent amount of time and really has a fall feel to me . It is a cultivated oil so you know up front .

I liked aroha kyaku. It's on the smokey side.

Look into getting resinous steam distilled moroki oils. The good ones never disappoint.

In the weather you described, my fave would be a smokey type of cambodi.

Ah good question, I’m not sure as I bought the later batch, I imagine you must have bought the same one as well.

There are two types of smokiness to me, one that of burnt wood and the second when you smell the base of incense stand after having burnt some high quality Japanese agarwood and kyara sticks. I prefer the latter. I agree Aroha Kyaku has the smokiness that reminds me of Indian luban oil.
