There were many ancient trees here but most were destroyed by either invading imperialists and intolerant religious colonists. Many were of the species Taxus or Yew and were over 3000 years old. A few still remain thankfully

la, it looks like siwak but it it a piece of a branch of the blessed tree in Jordan.
