I wanted to provide you with a brief update on the collaboration. @Mr.P will be extracting some CK and Mysore that were used in the creation of the Bilquis and Mysuru series. I am quite confident that these extractions will be exceptional and will be available for enthusiasts.

As many of you are aware, @Mr.P has over 30 years of experience in the aromatics. The final product he creates will undoubtedly reflect his extensive expertise in the field.

I do think the solvent extracts bring in certain aspects of the raw materials that are not captured in distillation and the idea of creating something like Bilquis with a combination of distilled and extracted oils is a very appealing one to me.

I've been wearing some of the sandalwood extract and have been really charmed by the dry down that the extract forms on skin. There's a certain nobility to the woodiness that I find very appealing.

The CK extract I wear all the time, it's a great foundation for other fragrances and I find it modifies the aroma of distilled CK in a way that I like, has a nice extended sweet dry down, stays close to the wearer (important to me) and also melds nicely with sandalwood. Usually I can't wear sandalwood on the same day that I'm wearing oud oil because to my nose even traces of sandalwood can kind of ruin the top note bouquet of the majority of my oud oils, but there's a beautiful harmony when it comes to kinam oils of certain types...
