A piece with blonde resin,
and smelled a bit different,
was unusually sweet.

Very sweet perfumey Vietnamese
followed by

Gyokushodo no 422 Vietnamese
which reminds me of a swipe of oud oil
which is a testament to artisanal oud
how they can capture the scent of heated oudh chips.

I have everyday off but this morning I'm burning a big chunk of Imphal from @Oudologie + Craftoud and sweetening up my home.

Sinking Tarakan from Jing as hard as rock, like shaving soapstone. Just at 10v and close up it's very floral, creamy sweet.

Oh man....it is almost 6am, I have been hunting and ordering woods all night...I just heated some of that shoyeido sandalwood oil I extracted....IT IS THE KYARA OF SANDALWOOD! MINDBLOWING PURE SANDALWOOD RICHNESS! This can never be achieved by heating sandalwood. So i just ordered 70 grams of the sandalwood, will yield about .8-1g of oil and 6-8g resin/wax haven't been this excited in a while

Sandalwood squares purchased from a Singapore ebay vendor back in 2001 or so. Good basic santalum album but not on the same level as Baieido squares I have.

Really nice, aroma, floral, sweet at low temp. where it's best, higher temps result in a smokey woodyness but very little in the way of bubbles 🙁
Still a great piece for the price
