Shake it hard in your hand bottom down and you get the same effect immediately 😉 but dont let it slip out of your hand 😂🙈.
There is no need to wait 😂 there are do many urban myths out there mainly because people lack the knowledge of basic physical principals.
Do you wait a day before using olive oil for cooking 😉 ?

I don't see the difference between oil traveling in a box versus in my pocket. I would wager, respectfully, that any changes that are perceived are in the nose of the beholder.

Especially during overseas journeys,
pressure and temperature differences are an important matter.
They do not damage the scent,
but it’s important to give the oil some time even briefly to adapt to the new environment.
@Al Shareef Oudh,s method is a very appropriate one:
Opening the cap for 1 minute to release any gas caused by pressure and heat,
then letting the oil rest for a day will give a much clearer idea of its true character.

Certainly no harm in taking a little time and I think in general the idea of not jumping to conclusions about a perfume based on your first impressions is always wise.

The idea of allowing all of the fragrance that may have gotten into the cap to settle is one that makes sense to me… Very thick oils take time to drain, the last thing you want is to be getting that stuff all over the threads and your fingers if it's in very limited supply. Also given the fact that the item might enter the home hot or frozen (or even at different internal pressure if it's truly sealed and coming from a different elevation) allowing it to reach equilibrium and resisting the urge to immediately pop the cap off the second you get it out of the package seems wise.

I just picked up my package from the UPS Shop, and even the unboxing experience makes me smile and feel happy. The mesOUD wrapping paper is so nice! It's awesome to see the craftmanship of @mesOUD not only in the oil, the vial, but also in the packaging and his communication

I am trying to let TrangQuil rest for a day or two before trying a swipe. But just from smelling from the vial... How is this such a young oil? You can feel the heft and the body of the oil already. This is going to be crazy once it has aged

I'm going to use this very sparingly, just to be sure I still have oil left in a decade from now ;-)

There is a significant negative impact on the smell due to travel. Whether it is the combination of temperature, pressure and shaking or just the shaking, smelling without rest is a disservice to the oil/perfume.

I even leave the lid open for a couple of minutes, then close it again and let it climatise for a day or two before smelling.
This is my process. I didn't look for "Scientific" evidence to back this up but it makes sense that air travel, temperature and ambient pressure may have an effect. At least initially. Either way, it feels intuitively right to do this. I also wait for the right moment where I can "listen" and pay attention. All of the above are my personal sign of respect to the oil and artist/distiller.

In saying that, I am very happy some have already got their Oils! Mine will arrive sometime next week. Enjoy the ride!

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who purchased TrangQuil without smelling it or reading a single review.
Thank you for placing your trust in me and in my art.
Rest assured, your trust has not been misplaced.
And as a token of that trust, I offer as always a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If TrangQuil not offer you what it promised, you are entitled to a full, unconditional refund.
TrangQuil was distilled from the highest quality true incense grade wild woods, through a meticulously calculated and uniquely refined distillation process.
There is so much that could be said about TrangQuil and yet, perhaps nothing needs to be said at all.

Together, we witnessed the 37 day journey of its creation, from the wood selection to the final distillation.
As I write these words, I wear TrangQuil on one wrist and two other Nha Trang oils, some aged over ten years on the other for comparison.
I can distinguish each note without confusion:
the scent of time itself, sensed beyond wood and oil,the aroma that speaks of the quality of the wood, the nuanced whispers of the distillation process.
I can almost imagine myself as a drop of water navigating the system seeing what kind of wood these oils came from, what kind of process they passed through.
And in this moment, what I feel about TrangQuil is nothing short of pure pride.

There is no need for ornate or exaggerated phrases.
What I am sending you is the fruit of patience, passion, and experience

And I wish for it to speak for itself, for its presence to say what words cannot.

beautiful bottles!

I opened the vials to let them air for a sec, and noticed a plastic stopper on the pretty Tranquil vial. For those familiar with Mesoud’s vials: do I remove this stopper or leave it on? 🙂

I kept them on just to prevent the content from getting out of the vial. But if you are storing it in a standing position all the time I guess removing it is fine as well.
