Oud Oil Tarakan Qadeem - Mesoud

Tarakan Qadeem Review Tarakan Qadeem opens with a deep, leathery scent that's like stepping into an old, dark library filled with the smell of aged paper and leather. It's complemented by moss and clean musk, giving it a rich, complex profile. There's a hint of salty, ambergris, notes which...

Kangiiten's Agarwood... is it just me that thinks that they were lackluster?

I mean, I got their Brunei K (need to give it another go so no comment), and their Pontianak (West Kalimantan). Their WK is just... low to mid range, and why have it in tiny AF pieces that, literally some of them are splinters and some of them are from actual agarwood beads, you can tell by the...

    How many swipes per gram?

Hi folks! With a glass applicator and assuming full bottle of 3g, how many swipes are expected on average across different consistency oils per g. For perfumes it's 10 sprays per ml. I was wondering how long do the oud/mukhallat oils last per my usage and I think this is a logical way to calculate.

    Ramadan Oudh

As Ramadan is just around the corner many in the Muslim world begin to prepare themselves for this Holy Month. Ramadan is a month where Muslims seek to gain god–consciousness, focusing on worship and charity. It is a month of spirituality, drawing closer to the Creator and seeking His Mercy...

What do the colors smelt in Oud mean?

I see folks describing their experiences smelling the Oud with reference to colors. I guess green is probably citrusy/leafy/medicinal. However I see a bunch of other colors like Red, Purple, Blue, Yellow etc and sometimes combination of them. I am reluctant to ask such questions as mostly it's...

Does moisturizing the hands a couple hours before applying an oil really help?

So, I don't usually moisturize, but I have started to use my BullDog Original Moisturiser, which is somewhat scented but very, very lightly, almost no scent and there is no stickiness at all and a tiny sliver once rubbed into the hands make your hands incredibly more soft and, of course, more...

Finally got some regular Oud Oils, only Oud oil I tried before these was the sample from my Kyara buy. I am in love 😍

So, before this I had only tried the Green Kyara 1ml sample I got from KyaraShrine with my black and green Kynam's and it was good at the time, then I just stopped wearing it as it was a bit boring, will probably wear it again now that I have more options on what to wear and what scent to inhale...

What do you guys think of this wood? Oud Leyte, selling on facebook

It has a weird shine to it on some of the close up pics, as if it is wet or been dipped in something or... wax possibly? I am looking to learn more about how to spot good and bad agarwood from people I don't have a relationship with yet, and facebook is the wild west of agarwood. I had someone...

Do these Japanese Silver pieces of Charcoal still need a mica, like the Swift Lites, In your opinion?

I was using these for a while and got 2 boxes of them so over 100 now, because I didnt have mica plates and had 3 for free handy, and when I was using them without a mica, I didnt get burned acrid smells like I would with Swift Lites without a mica, for some reason these burn the agarwood...

    Oud wood burnt in mosques

Peace be upon you all, I think I finally found a community who can help me answer my question. In Saudi Arabia where I grew up, popular mosques backed by Royal Family burn oud wood once a week or everyday in Ramadan. One such mosque was Umm ul Hamam where Sheikh Adel Kalbany would lead Ramadan...

This oil is one of the crown jewels of my journey. An oil that is breathtakingly beautiful, smells vintage, and (is) vintage In our region in the GCC, oils of such caliber would only have been accessible to the upper class Arabs in the old times. I once gave an old timers here in UAE a swipe of...
