Oud Stories - Isparta Rose oil

This is less sharp than Taif rose oil and more smooth. It’s warm, velvety and sweet like sugar. It’s soft and has a classic jammy floral vibe to it and less of a vegetal feel. Wearing this before bed 🛏️.

Dr. Incense - Ambergris and Musk

Ambergris and Musk in vintage Cambodian Oud. All 3 materials share the spotlight. This maceration is powerful. One tiny little dot emanates scent from morning to night. The smell of this makes me think of someone strumming the deepest note on a bass and letting it ring all the way into silence. Or hitting the lowest keys of a piano and feeling the vibration. A deep and dark oil with presence.

Bourhan Oud - General

I’m getting ready for work and this blend is just an absolute powerhouse. An incredibly rich and regal composition that brings together some of the finest natural materials and artisanal creations.

The opening is beautifully vibrant, with resinous spices and a refined powdery sweetness, before the aged ouds begin to reveal its true character. Deep, dark, and complex, with layers of jammy dried fruits, smoky leather, and warm balsamic resins. The ouds and HJ marry really well here.

What makes this blend particularly special is the generous amount of pure ambergris, which adds a beautiful salty-sweet, almost golden warmth that rounds off the darker facets of the oud. The result is something remarkably smooth, velvety, and luxurious, with an incredible depth and a lingering scent that is simply magnificent.
