If the wood are clean fine and have nice resin best thing low temperatures I do it with electronic burner & I didn't try this portable before but I think it will work fine I try shoyeido battery burner before with high quality wood and work perfect...

i used burner yesterday and worked fine.
i heated 30 seconds on 200 and then dropped to 120
vietnamese wood had nice apple, cinnamon and raspberry notes
kyarazen heater is definitely my thing

I tried burning ambergris. It's amazing but you need to heat on very very low heat. I also tried burning some musk. Delicious.

About ambergris a perfumer told me to take a needle and heat it. And then put it on the ambergris. When it melts on the needle you heat the needle again. The smell you get is close to what this piece will smell in a perfume

Exactly this is how you detect real ambergris from fake .

Mmmmmmmm now you made me wish I lived in a warmer country. Here you can swim but even in summer the water is cold compared to the body

The smell of ambergris & musk wasn't nice like heating agarwood my humble advice better to mix it with rose and oud oil better than waste it on burner the aroma of ambergris on heater are like sea salt smell...

When I heated them on low low heat it was nice Akhi but you're 1000% right. I would never make it an habit to heat musk or ambergris. But i wanted to try to see how it is. Better with oud, frankincense and sandal😀

Btw. How is your musk+ taifi maceration now habibi?

nice but over sweet , to enjoy more muskiness ambergris smell you need to add just little drop of taifi rose and add hindi oil and musk with ambergris or sandal as what you love but sandal and rose are strong so you need to use them very little to enjoy more specially with musk

Brother white ambergris on a micca plate has fantastic smell but expensive !
It makes you think home front of the beach
