[Ouddict.com] Burn of the Day

BRUNEI heartwood granules, Ceylon sandalwood granules, Filipino elemi

Just heated some wood from @Alkhadra. Its the Gyrinops walla slow sinking xylem. The wood was dense and nicely resinated, the smell was beautiful with notes of minty green earth and a sherbert style sweetness. I always heat wood leave the room then come back after 10-15 minutes. I find this works well and you experience the smell better as ot hits you. Great wood and great prices this is top stuff cant wait to try the rest :handok:

Very nice heater!

I just heat some Baieido Kokonoekokumo wood on my Imperial oud subitism heater.

It is indonisian wood.

First time I saw this wood I thought its a joke because it is not good looking.

It take some time to hunderstand this wood.

First I put it on a charcoal and the wood literaly burn. I was really disapointed.

But after burning some at low temp I hunderstand that the looking of the wood sometimes dont reflect the olfactory scent.

It give the most precious vanilla note I ever smell in a wood.

And you just need a very small chips to enjoy the scent a long time.
