Sri Lankan heartwood sinking
Hainan sinking heartwood
Brunei G (Al Hashimi) sinking piece
Cambodi chunk( sinking)
Borneo 1980’s fast sinking nugget
Soil sinking Philippine

I’m giving a gift to someone and I had to burn a bit of each to make sure every single piece was the most amazing piece of that wood my friend has ever burned!

More oudy than pretty, but the aura is nice.

Such a welcoming scent, Vietnamese is up there with Hainan, although Hainan will make you smile more😁

Sinking wild Pursat (per KyaraShrine) powder. It's red colored and very dense in appearance. 10g doesn't look like much. On the toaster at 11.5 v is very subtle, clean sweet oud. I bought it for incense making but looking at it think I'll just use it neat.
Head's up, @$10/g this powder is the first powder I can really love. Damn nice aroma at low temp. 10.5v my office is a garden of sweet. Kyara Shrine not Zen like i originally posted, sorry.

Nice fruity opening, with an oudy base,
but was not very resinated and was weak in scent.

Could the powdery note suggest oxidation of the oil within the wood? Is that even possible?

If that Jaya is the same you sent me… it’s the best I’ve ever burned… unreal stuff!
Black Kynam from Doc I tonight. It’s amazing, stunning, superb, uplifting, all the superlatives you can think of…yet I have buyers remorse…can’t explain… it’s not the wood… it’s the idea of it running out… weird huh? Maybe I’ll just sell it, 😂. #backwardslogic

Hainan Char for starters
Yummm.
Then a sliver from a Yamadamatsu
Aloeswood Chunk.
The resin is sort of hard and brittle.
