Tonga sandalwood ftom ensar followed by vintage 80’s Mysore from ensar .
Been wrapped up deep in sandalwood procurement the past few days and it involves so much dancing around to a tune that’s got a crazy rhythm. Nothing is easy very little is straight forward and shipping is beyond complicated for a distiller in the states.

It’s been almost 2 years since I ran out of Ensar Mysore 80’s but that phenomenal feeling is still fresh in my memory. Can’t seem to find that type of sandalwood anymore.
More of this Japanese Jinko grade, very yellow floral and a hint of cinnamon.

Inspired by an earlier post to heat
some of Ensar’s 70’s Mysore granules.
I never tried the 80’s Mysore.
The 70’s Mysore is closest to Shoyeido’s Sandalwood Square cut, the ones that come 5 grams sealed in plastic, not the earlier format of 10 grams in a paper envelope. Good stuff, no doubt.

Even on charcoal it was going on non stop sweet beauty smoke
Honest, I wish I could get "into" it more, I've got quite a bit of green and white sinking, they really do go on forever.
