I hope to get something from Alexander Oudh soon. I burnt an Assamese chip from Bengal Roots today on coal. Delightfully woodsy and sweet and sour.

Today I've been heating some slivers of Lao wood that I got from JDHawk. I always soak in water first, per his suggestion, and heat very low.

I've been switching up agarwood with a mix of rosemary, peppermint and lemon essential oils on my ceramic heater... it's mentally stimulating for when my brain gets too relaxed 😉

agree. sometimes soaking in water before putting it on my electric burner at low temp really makes a difference imo.

hi to all i want to buy a burner can you advice me guy

with charocal its not good?

i bought a electric burner ceramic with controle of the heating but i put some of sumatra nuggets
The heat was not enough to get the smoke
i need your advice from a professional of burning wood

@halim charcoal is good for fumigating a larger space as there is more smoke produced when wood is put directly on hot charcoal. you should try using foil ontop of the charcoal to lower the temprature and search for the more sweeter nuances of the wood. I purchased my electric burner from Faizal around a year ago and im really happy with it. It has worked perfectly and you get the best out of the notes of the wood on lower heat. I think there are other burners on the market worth checking out, i also purchased a mug style electric heater which has a plate which heats up. I found this not to get hot enough for the wood but fine for when burning bukhoor. An electric heater is fast and easy where as charcoal takes times and effort, sometimes the process with coal is more soothing than just flicking a switch. Low heat is the way for me as i rather enjoy the wood than simply smoke out a room.
