I cant help but feel this is like the majestic Al Sheikh Bakhoor in spray form. Specially in its heart and base.

The bakhoor note is real, the reason for that is that in the early generations of Islam bakhoor was more widely utilised than balms and oils. Perfuming oneself in our culture has layers; 1. clothes are fumigated some time before they are worn, then again on the day they are worn. 2. The oil, balm is applied on the day, and in modern times 3. finally the spray.
The pivotal question was, how do we capture all these layers in a spray. Alhamdulillah we did it!

I don’t mean just the Bakhoor note. All the notes of the Bakhoor, sweetness, bitterness, oud and musk all of it. I find them in the base and dry down of al Ghaliyah

That is a great point. The bakhoor note is not a singular note, as bakhoors themselves are a complete composition in solid form. Capturing the heating of bakhoor in spray form is very tricky. Obviously, we do not add Al Sheikh in the composition, rather try to capture it in different ways in the spray so that it reflects the heating process to supplement the other elements. Kodos to you for being able to pick those nuances.

Distilled this breath taking oudh close to two years ago. 50 year old Wild trees. It was a handsome prince when first distilled and now it is a King who has ascended his rightful throne.
The first to guess the region of the oil and the total weight of the woods in the background will receive a bottle of this King.
