Look what I got in the mail today courtesy of someone very dear to me. This was the first non barn Hindi I had tested back in 2016. Little did I know these types of Hindi oils would get very close to my heart.
This is Taha’s first Gen 3 Indian oil if I remember correctly. I missed out on the chance to get this oil back then and it is something I deeply regretted.
Fast forward to today and I came home darting to get to the mailbox.
I let the bottle relax for about 5 hours and now I have just applied some on my knuckles.
It sheer aroma and depth took me back couple of years when I sampled this oil.
Truly a special Indian oil which I will cherish IA for a long time.

AA's oils unveil their beauty and brutality slowly but steadily. They are not for mercurial sort of persons or the ones looking for instant relaxation like the effect of pain-killers. They are for mystics and monks. Oud oils are wordless aesthetic pleasure. Aromatic calligraphy! The oils released during last six months, now brute in them is there to thunder.

That was a secret. Lol
I havent even opened the other one. Its still in the same plastic bag it came in. And it will be like that for years. I think with age this oil will get even better.

Rhu Khus (crazily long lasting! can smell 8hrs after a shower and sleeping!)
Mysore Sandalwood - very very good. Sharp from the bottle but 20mins on skin paints another picture
Mysore bil Misk - again another stunner. Though....I think Habz' recent oil may edge out here
Bahadur - my 2nd sample of this beautiful oil

I am burning the Sinking Sri Lankan wood and boy is it delicious.



I also pulled out all my wood from the overflowing box where I keep everything...I need a better way to organise them, as there's just baggies sitting on top of baggies all stuffed down together. I'm also making no 'dent' in my wood at all despite burning all the time at home (i.e. always)
