Red soil ancient Filipinnes buried woodAssalamo aleykom / Hello all 🙂
I hope you are having a great oudilicoius day.
My question is: What is the best wood you have tried heating?
I'm mostly intrested of the different regions/jungles they are from 🙂
Sometimes I think this is a tough hobby to have without a lot of cash!!Is this board full of millionaires, or is Shoyeido's kyara just heavily marked up?
Hello brother, can you DM me? Seems I cannot dm you. THANKSsorry for the rant ahead of time guys, i am just in love again.....I did not rob an agarwood museum in japan but it sure feels like it lol.
a wood who's fumes at even 60c and all heat temps enter the nose and act like a universe is being blown away by pure perfume explosion of the grandest most complex vietnamese agarwood that so deep and alive it feels like it knew how the best cambodi, hong kong, hainan, malay, laos, green kyara and other wood smell and threw all those at you simultaneously but the impossible vietnamese aroma still standing taller and dominating like a king of kings scent that i never witnessed before in even named pieces treasured by the head masters of the oldest incense shops. never in my wildest imagination could i comprehend that this could have existed.
the crazy thing about it and the craziest thing i have witnessed and have experienced similarly a couple times but not at this level in my whole time exploring this amazing hobby is that this wood was available since 2019 and the pictures looked like sh!t, but a voice was always whispering to me, whispering notes of gems....but it was too expensive, unreachable for the looks and risk of those ugly pictures and no friends wanted to join in for a split that would make it much easier to capture. until recently where i managed to decide to risk it going completely blind on just a hinch and spent money from a whole marble sculpture that took a whole 30days to carve. when the wood came, the aroma was going through the plastic bag and was heavy like a rock. this piece is like 6cm long and 4cm tall in some parts but mostly just 3cm spikes and the base is 2-2.3cm thick and is 26grams.
I have seen many kyara and agarwood pics, but brother, This could be one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen!In journey of chasing wood you come across lots of surprising materials was it Kyara/Kinam or top Aloeswoods with Kyara notes or special in ther own notes.
Thank god i did test heavy amounts of wood and i keep saying it would be hard to surprise me anymore but! the sea is so vast and lots of special pieces still there.
This one of most precious woods in everything! Name, Quality, Aroma, Uniqueness, Ethereal and so on.
Passed down by Nobles school and its one of Ther famous Incense.
