Mysuru Black Meat Root - Al Hind Oud
This is my first time wearing it and this oil is ridiculous. i have been neck deep in lavish, ravishing florals for a week and have waited until I could be alone with this because I knew it would be special. It deserves as much attention as an oud. An almost overpowering cascade of flowers. Marzipan. Wet, round, oily, sweet, laughing. Side by side with the room temp wood the oil is a crystal clear distillation of the wood’s character. No interruption from the heat and pressure of the still. It’s just transmuted from one form to another. If Ruh Gulab means heart of rose then this is Ruh Chandan, heart of sandalwood. Just dancing, sparkling magic. The flowers never stop.
