2) Kyara di ser perfume sample from luckyscent (will experiment with this mixed with the ejay oil or others mentioned below)

4) a tiny sample of bai kinam a wild chinese kinam co2 from RPP a friend sending me this I am extremely grateful.
5) the shogun of japan SUPPOSEDLY WILD KINAM DISTILLATION by that "the perfumist" (LOL VERY CONTRAVERSIAL ONE) sample from a friend who is very much into oud and confirms it smells legit. Besides all the INSANE and very unlikely advertising of this being true, i am excited to see this one very much because if it is even an attar that smells like wht I like I would gladly buy a gram. The guys description is very on point. if it smells anything like that i am sold. Thanks to the new friend willing to send me this sample I am extremely grateful

Haha yes, like an addict 😬🤭. I have been taking some interest in Natural Perfumes in spray formats recently and have been enjoying it. For past 2 years, I have been thinking of cutting down on the stuff I have, never got to it.

I though they made first few Bortnikoffs together, like the Oud Maximus 2018, or may be he was not officially collaborating but we heard he was helping Dimitri.

I have sampled the War and Peace 2, it’s super super beaver tail oil intense and very dark.
The opening and heart is intense and castoreum heavy. I cannot pick any rose in that darkness. I love the dry down. The trick for me is to spray very little so that it reaches the dry down much sooner. One only needs a very little of it for the life time. I may decant and sell some of it 🙂

I’m just going to distill these chips with my Sri Lankan shavings with my next oil.

Yes Habzoud will hook it up and everyone should know that ! I Myself was offered no return option on the “ low grade wood” sold to me by pintanna , it was a total burn. 🤷🏻‍♂️( I’ll distill it)
That’s why the vetting done buy vendors on this site is priceless.
Customers here all want 5-10 grams of wood and export it be flawless. It’s not so easy to purchase large amounts of wood by the kg that is completely consistent . Price for vetted wood that is all perfect is 10x the cost of a kg of the wood it was picked from.

When you purchase multiple kgs it is impossible to sift through everything. Hunters know that, the bad ones use that against you, the ethical ones will let you know whats going on in the bags.

End users don't see that, and sometimes reading about such experiences may give them some perspective.

The other thing is, whilst we present the cream of the crop to our customers, hunters don't sell just the cream, they mostly sell the whole lot or nothing, and from that lot much of it doesn't make it to the store and one is left with these small batches. This is specially problematic for incense wood, those batches don't come large enough to distill what is left after sorting so there is a large and long holding until there is sufficient wood from the same region to distill. Now multiply that with multiple regions.

This isnt complaining just sharing the gems of the business.
