This just took a week from China. Sinking Vietnamese and sinking Mysore bead stock. All "cheap" and damn, as advertised.

Well it's sold out now but it was just over $6g for the oud and almost nothing for the Sandalwood which is now warming and filling my home office.

My two cents is that hailam is a zoomed in and “fractional” like profile of what you get in Royal kinam. Former is more meditative and purer while the latter is a mind f&@$. Intensity of Royal kinam is many fold that of hailam. Two lovely oils but for me personally close enough of a profile to own both.

1) An absolute rare beauty 1.54g chunk of kyara on the way and I am really off the charts as this profile has been a loooooooooooooooooong time searching to find a similar profile!!
2) Waiting for a full 2.5g bottle of Oud Ertugrul (my favorite oil of all time) in a Wheaton v-vial from a brother who was kind enough to let this go and I have another gram to add to the vial and I have been waiting impatiently!
3) 1.47g Of a very fragrant black Vietnamese wood with silver stripes called "tiger cane" from Yamadamatsu that I inquired for as I have sampled it a month ago which has a very cooling-melon-white magnolia/jasmine and sweet-spicy aroma that is pretty potent on even 80 and this is very shocking. I hope to be able to grab more of this asap
4) some ungraduated wheatons .3-1g sized vials and a couple samples of musk grains from a very kind brother including some really old aged musk tiny amount, some kangiten kyara clouds and other incense that I have been hearing so much about.

Just ordered from Perfumer’s supply house, and all for less than what .5g of decent oud goes for these days….
Organic neroli Biolandes (nice neroli!)
Patchouli “fraction b” Robertet (killer patchouli)
Atlas cedar heart Robertet (new to me)
A couple of proprietary frankincense extracts also new to me (from, you guessed it: Robertet)
Noticed they have Indian sandalwood at about $4/g in small quantities and cheaper in bulk. It seems to be the real deal, but a mild smelling oil - maybe plantation grown and steam distilled if I had to guess.

received my Kangiiten today, burning a chunk of aged Mysore, can't really smell it but I'm sure my skin is absorbing the ions just fine. Next batch of incense I make is going to be good 😉

Mysore Antique is wonderful. I love Dr. Parasun/CraftOud's sandalwoods, my favorite so far being Santal Supreme II. Very excited to get my nose on Regal when it arrives
