Hell yeah! I'll slowly make my way through the Crassana's (of which there are many) first. Pretty sure I can already identify that particular tree/oud. Now for the nuances.
It will be great to hear your thoughts

I have two premium jasmine oils, sandalwood, nutmeg, and a patchouli molecular distillate on the way from Fraterworks in NZ.

This oils are from the difficult to access and higher end of the fine fragrance raw material suppliers, and I'm very excited to have access to these thanks for this company because normally this quality doesn't make it out to the retail market. Floral Concept, Peyan Bertrand are two of the sources. Very excited to try another high end grandiflorum!

The pricing is also non-exploitative. I think they could get away with charging more for what they sell...

Finally! Descriptions to follow at a later time. I’m too overwhelmed and really couldn’t fairly sample this many at one time. Notice I don’t say ” reviews” because to be honest if I could afford it I would immediately order the biggest bottle of each of these. Based on sniffing the caps I was reminded of a sensation that happens whenever I encounter any Oud and that’s the feeling of familiarity and strangeness. The feeling that I’ve smelled this before and knowing I’ve never smelled anything quite like it. Just goes to reinforce my notion that Oud can smell like anything and everything but nothing smells like Oud.
first impression:
If you told me Oud Said was a magical attar or a mukhallat from some exceptionally skilled hand I would believe it. Easy and cologne like. A suede smooth note in actual scent and feeling. Absolute pleasure. Can’t wait to explore each of these and to be honest I’ve taken a mini swipe of each of these somewhere on both arms so I can’t really tell you much detail about this fantastical cloud that’s wafting up around me. And I chose cheaper oils that I might actually be able to afford. Spectacular!

Can’t wait to hear about the Patchouli distillate. I absolutely love patchouli and have really come to appreciate anyone who can coax more out of it. I’ve yet to try an absolute or CO2 . I’m loving EO Apothecare’s Java Patchouli right now. Rooty, sweet and boozy. Yet another note combo I didn’t know this material could have.

This should be on a t-shirt" Oud can smell like anything and everything but nothing smells like Oud." Dude I understand 100% where you are coming from with oud from @mesOUD. I've got 35 sample bottles to get through and already I have put some aside into a "must get more" category. Devine.

I sympathize. There are much worse “problems” to have, but my nose and brain are exhausted after sampling 3 of the 5 I got. I’m curious to hear what you think of the Oud Said and Sumbawa Black. Both are my first Gyrinops and i know the Oud Said is a codistillation of Vesteggii and another subspecies but the similiarities are enough to make the differences even more intriguing.

Will definitely get back to you on those.😁 Actually, I might pull out one of those you have mentioned to give myself a break from the Crassna's as well.

Oud oils from Jinkoh have finally arrived! Applied a decent size swab with a toothpick of Grand Emperor Hue to the back of both hands and dabbed another drop on the forearms, beard, and neck. I’m getting strong terpenic acetone, gassy fume vibes. This is reminding me almost exactly of my Fiber spray perfume from Lost Tribe, filled with 4 grams of Cambodi, Thai, and Malaysian oud. I’m not sure which of these three is the one resembling Hue so much, but it’s the opening which is starkly similar. Fiber dries down to a cherry, spicy, resinous cola that I believe the Malaysian is responsible for. I’m wondering if Hue will have a similar spiced cola scent to it. It definitely feels purple to me.

Was impatient and took a mini swipe of Borneo Qi on the top of the forearm as well. I’m getting much more diesel/gas green maybe even like an OG Kush or Sour Diesel cannabis note on it. These are my first swipes of pure oud oil so my nose is definitely untrained so far on picking out notes so no real reviews for now. Just my amateur observations
