Assalamualaikum,

Thank you admin ! I just found this forum two weeks ago and how i wish i found it 3 years ago. I'm just one of very few oud fans from Brunei. Cheers!
Waalaikumsalam Brother.
I'm Shahril from Pahang, Malaysia.
Malaccensis from Brunei is 1 of my favourite

As Salaam Alaykum brothers and sisters,

First off I want to say Ramadan Mubarak to everyone 🙂. Thanks to Allah subhana wa ta'ala for giving us this blessed month. May He accept our duas, prayers and efforts. Ameen.

I've been a lurker here ever since I purchased my first pure oud (Ensar Oud Yusuf 2011) in the beginning of January this year from a very generous and helpful friend and member here. So Thai oils will always have a special place in my heart although my tastes and preferences are constantly maturing to appreciate the plethora of quality ouds out there.

This IMO is the best way to make my first post on this resourceful forum. I look forward to contributing and becoming an active member of the Oud community 🙂.

Welcome to the community and khair mubarak. Most Oud journeys start with Thais and end with Hindis lol! Hope you benefit from the forum

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome 🙂. Considering my background I'd expect to end with Hindis . Have to first figure out exactly what regions I've tried. Still a bit fuzzy on that.

The Journey through Oud never ends , Scent Profile from Region to region country to country , never ending path of nuances & scent profiles .As I walk through the Boreal forest of North America and the Spring Mist in the air , fishing for the mystical trout and mist of the forest hits my nose , there is a essences of Oud the gives De Ja Vu , Piney scent that comes out with Misty rain hitting the peat moss and Borneo profile comes out in the North American Rain Forest , Only in Spring does it have the beautiful smell , & as seasons change I wait for beautiful spring , From the Cold arctic winters lies hope with the spring horizon and another Olfactory journeys begins & and never ends .

Assalamalaikum and Greetings to all,

I have been lurking for a few months, thought it was time to say hello. I likely know a few of you already, and enjoy several products from the fine vendors who post here. Thank you all for your wonderful contributions to the site.

Alaikom alsalam & Ramadan Mubarak , welcome to ouddict
