lol then it’s exactly as intended. I use this maceration to incorporate a musk note in attars and perfumes, but many people asked for it solo so here it is. It’s fresh Siberian musk straight from the pod, no drying or anything, I left some bits of the skin too. Put a drop of it in rose or Oud and you’ll enjoy it more I bet. Used like this it’ll last a very very long time.
For sure it is as advertised and I enjoy for what it is. Fun to open up and have a sniff now and again.
And for pairings I really liked it with tuberose. Made it feel (pardon the cliché) more alive.

This attar is so special. It kind of reminds me of a Shamama that’s more floral-based. But it’s so sumptuous.
It opens with a luminous accord of white lotus and opulent red champaca, anchored by the rich, honeyed depth of vintage Rose de Mai. As it evolves, dark patchouli and SQ Bakhoor dissolve into a base of golden ambergris, leaving a scent trail of smoke, rich florals, and oceanic warmth. This one is so calming to the nerves. Absolutely gorgeous attar.

I feel like the frankincense oils that @Oudique carried are worth mentioning again, I just came across a bottle of the royal green hojari. These oils are very thick and viscous without being sticky, I'm not sure how that is pulled off and I wish I knew a little bit more about their production/ composition. Aroma is very true to the resin itself, I recall conversations here about folks wishing frankincense oils were not so thin and runny, this is a really unusual one because it's not watery but it's also not sticky / gummy - just a nice viscous oil that disperses on skin without the problems of my resinoids. I wonder if this is perhaps a carbon dioxide extract?
