Old and crumbly, still has a little vanilla,
earthy, resin, oudy, and a touch herbal.

Hmm... Mandeel, when you burn, are you creating lots of smoke? I've been heating my wood, just to where it releases scent but very rarely is there more than a little wisp of smoke. This way, I get to enjoy all the nuances of the scent, during a long gentle burn... and without the smoke. I would imagine this would be way healthier!

What type of heating device are you using that doesn't create much smoke?

I ground the two woods together
and heated the powder.
Initially, all Sri Lanka scent,
but as things heated up,
a strong resin cloud was formed,
powerful room fumigation😍
