Burn of the day is an understatement. If you've ever wondered if oudwoodvietnam.com is legit? I can tell you they sent glue sticks. Pretty painted movie stand-in, but not designed for fumigation, bordering on toxic, zero agarwood. Headache. If you're into financial abuse, I recommend.
Please post a pic if ya could, I'd love to see

Complain and send it back , she has refunded me in the past when the wood was subpar, but it was never fake!
I personally stopped buying from her a few years ago due to quality issues
Yes of course. We shall see if she ever responds. Maybe she sells subpar agarwood to her trusted clients but I got the glue sticks. At least if they glowed or did something.

What quality wood did you purchase?
I just have a hard time with the glue stick description because I know this vendor and she doesn’t do this as a primary occupation.
She will 100% refund you if you ask her to
I have never bought her lower priced wood so I can’t speak on its quality.
Her wood was never bad , I just found better sources along my journey

Started with Yamadamatsu SS Aloeswood old stock, love the Walla Patta vibe at low heat.

Then some ASO Merauke, woods with some cream, bitterness, and earthiness. Really old stuff from underground, whose application is probably more suited for scenting an area or clothes than gently heating.

Finally, some Shoyeido Mini Agarwood chips, designed for use in their Kodutu heater.
They are practically all resin, so I always start them on low heat.

I can't continue this conversation. I don't buy low end and have an extensive collection of agarwood. I don't feel a need to prove myself to you.

You sure this is even oud? Never heard or seen golden oud resin bubble 🤨
Yes I'm sure and have some Viet wood (?) from Japan Incense that also bubbles honey golden oil. Here's the cuts. it's a thing of beauty up close. Smells of heaven. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised but surprised none the less fooled by how a piece looks.

"how much am I missing out on a particular aromatic when my mind is busy or when I'm relaxed?"
I got curious about how my perception of smell is affected by my state of mind.
so, I've set the intention to give full attention to the experience of smell.

to do that, I did two breathing exercises, starting with breath of fire and then Wim hof breathing exercise.
then did a few minutes of body scanning meditation.

I could definitely pick up more subtle nuances and get more relaxation from the same aromatic compared to when my mind was somewhere else.

things like breathing exercise, yoga, and kundalini sound very woo- woo- to me
although I cannot logically explain how and why they work, they definitely helped my olfactory appreciation.

“If I could tell you what it meant, there would be no point in dancing it” - Isadora Duncan

some things just have to be experienced. words fall short or lose their meaning when described.

just being here, just smelling and enjoying the smell, is very hard.

Cambodi wood with coffee and bear watching this morning.
Can not seem to get my local bear to move along he just keep hanging around and eating the fresh shoots from the baby Doug fir trees!!!
Hey I was going to distill those!!!!!
He comes up every morning to my cabin to say Hi.

What a stunning & delectable dessert, AL Shareef's CK! It is the mother's milk tears of an agarwood tree. An enveloping sweet embrace without too much sugar. A beautiful wood to look at, but even better, that comfort of a perfect childlike horchata. Yes on low heat. My 3 subtism's are on hiatus. And I haven't missed them recently.

Just received a tiny bit of Burma Super 3x from Oliver the Tea Guru, whatever the words mean I don't know but I put a tiny piece on the warmer and it's smells very unique, a very fragrant chip, light and bright florals at 12v.

Yum ! I have a few orders coming from him, I hope I included that one. I asked him which his favorites are and he mentioned florals ~
