Burn of the Day

[PersonelHigh]

Both of them legit and they seem to have same source for wood but different shop or branches ? Don’t know.
You will see difference in some pieces and there is those that both have in ther accounts.

Lori is Jing and Lisa and Uncle Kai.

Lisa seriously, I'm so bummed you wouldn't sell me that censer we discussed. That you claimed was not resin but hand carved mammoth tooth because I wanted free shipping.

[PersonelHigh]

I got some stuff from Yuzhi too, but when it came, the wood had the most nauseating plastic smell. I heated some on the subitism but the smell was super muted, unimpressive at all temperatures. Not what I was expecting

Holy toledo, I haven't tried mine yet. It's in the vault.

Today's BURN EO's SINKING Irinan. I am reminded of a baked sweet potato. I have 20grams of this. I may have to get creative. Does anyone sell micro distilleries? To console myself I'm recalling my greatest tincture with a crumby Hoi-An not worthy of fumigation. Seriously stunning.

For Christmas we should do a secret Santa gift swap🙂 I know what I'm wrapping up first! Whose in?

Did you try searching on Baidu or Yandex? I think they index Chinese social media, the other big search engines do not.

I'm not sure how to navigate either of the two, but if anyone is interested in finding the source, I can forward some pictures Jing sent me when I was inquiring about products

[EJayB]

Philippines wood I got from IO years ago, I really miss those guys

[iori]

Maybe Uncle Kai ?

I doubt Kai have anything to do with those two, try Chen Xiang site, those most likely related to those two

Just heated some Shoyeido Matsu Chunks
new batch arrived from Japan just today.
Item 314311

Heavy chunks full of resin, looks like Philippine old growth stuff, absolutely beautiful looking.

Upon heating…..nothing like my prior batches from years ago, unimpressive aroma, medicine and wood, no better than Aetoxylon.

Looks like Shoyeido is now grading based on appearance, not aroma🤣🤣🤣

☹️

Bummer…

that actually sounds good lol how is it smell as it is heated?

[Ofaruk]

It starts very sweet in low heat then it starts to release that cinnamon vibe when the heat is slowly increased. Plus, I burned the same chips at least 3 times, it still fills a room even when there is no oud smoke.

I stand corrected...thank you.....
