"Soil" wood is just that, wood that supposedly was on in under the ground as opposed to having been cut from a living tree. All agarwoods have unique scent profiles based on geographic as well as organic (earth) and climatic differences and then even two pieces from the same branch can vary. Smelling Oudh that is warming gently can produce a bouquet of aromas and one of the more sought after wood is Red Soil from a particular region of Vietnam. Hope that helpsCan anyone describe the scent profile of red soil? Comparable to Mitti?

I don't know it came as part of a collection that she sent. I will snap a picture. It's a little kinamic which I don't really appreciate. That sludge of rice treats just over sauces and takes away my attention from the more preferable nuances. But it's a pleasant cream tea I would say. It doesn't appear in anyway to have been submerged in soil.which grade you got from jings red soil? and how does it smell?
