I don’t have a lot to spend on this stuff so once again another boring report of wonderful scents coming from olefaktory cultivated kinam.

Shoyeido Matsu Square Cut

Well…..technically it’s just “cut” Wari,
pieces are not identically square,
Kakuwari is a uniform square cut which is available upon request by contacting Shoyeido.

Anyhow, several pieces have a Walla Patta aroma, and I’d bet they are indeed Sri Lankan, which means they must have come from some nice chunks😊

Starting today with what I finished with yesterday, chips of Fili Soil i got from Yusa Aromatics that is so old, so resonated and oily!

Shin kyara (Kangiiten) for this evening

Spicy, balsamic, vanillic, very oudy, of all things I get a betel-nut like astringent woody smell behind the spices, dry & golden hay, tonka, cedary (unsure if it's Texan, Lebanese or Himalayan), muskmelon, green melon, some overall qualities of some wild Vietnamese and even rarer Laotians. There is lot more. But let me enjoy this beautiful olfactory ride. Alhamdulillah

Did any one try HEM incense ? I try them for a while they are very fragrance.
I used to like HEM before I got into more natural products. Then I found the mothers India fragrances nag champa line and got hooked on that. Then minorien. Then it was frankincense. Then agarwood and finally sandalwood. Quite the progression that I’m betting others have had too! HEM just isn’t the same anymore though my wife still loves it.
