Western New Guinea: Touches of various spices (zanthoxylum, cardamom, cinnamon, star anise and possibly a few more), vanilla (trace), dark jungle soil with occasional flare of mild green (freshly crushed vegetation), unspecified dank woods, benzoin, woody facets of Lebanese cedar, SL sandal, and mahogany and many many more!

In the 1st 10-15 minutes, it occasionally reminds me of Merauke chips and incense sticks. But that quality doesn't reappear afterwards.

After 30 mins it becomes a resinous party of benzoin, vanilla (still very nuanced), woods, deep incense of any well resinated oud chips, Peru/Tolu balsam, myrrh (heart), touch of trail of luban tear at low temperature, and lots of other balsams and resins. It is still working its magic after 50 minutes. Thanks to the DIY subitism heater.

Me too, I keep missing the Kangiiten release. The KZ Brunei I have is from around 5 years ago. At that time I scored two different batches from Him, I kept the better of the two and sold the other batch, but I regret selling it.

Me too, I keep missing the Kangiiten release. The KZ Brunei I have is from around 5 years ago. At that time I scored two different batches from Him, I kept the better of the two and sold the other batch, but I regret selling it.

I have the same batch offered as a sampler set of 10. I k ow what you mean. A truly superior offering. To date only another Brunei wood called Brunei nirvana from ensar matched it. Few folds the price

Vintage Burmese

Kangiiten shin kyara purple and then green as well as some ejayb cultivated kinam chips.

The green is my favorite - there is a kind of dense “chewy” kyara note that shines in the heart of this wood that makes me happy.

The purple and the green both have some kind of spicy, vibrant wood note in the “top” that is very nice. Maybe more noticeable in the purple.

Olefaktory ck is similar in profile but more confectionary. The shavings have an almost “farinaceous” top note that transforms into something reminiscent of baking pastry while somehow not really smelling like food. The chips don’t show the initial farinaceous note but do present the warm baked goods vibe.

All three of these leave a very similar after glow and yield a lot of scent from small pieces if heated very gently.

Today finally got my new heater!! I went crazy heated so many things at like .005 each it was heaven!
Hainan ant and also hainan bead scrap powder very old and good
brunei bead scrap excellent
malaysian 100yr old gorgeous
mlaysian root which i believe it is hainan and it is better than so many kinams
6 different kinams 2 green-2 black- 2 white back to back
golden triangle from jing (heaven on this one)
nha trang fron jing also heaven
tarakan resin that is just out of this world
a resin mix i did with white kinam-kalimantan-hainan BONKERS
it has been about an hour since i finished up and i can still smell bliss stuck in my breath and nose. feeling super happy and blessed!

i am going mad about woods more than ever!! charmed beyond my own comprehension. I did not heat them till finish but only about 3minutes each and later on today I will mix them all up for a king session!

Malacensis wood from Malaysia.
One piece seemed adultered with chemicals, another reminded me of animals and last one was just ok.

That's what you get for buying in seemingly large amount w/o quality control.

Really hate adultered pieces. I can understand lower quality wood but adultered with chemicals in a health hazard! Makes me angry just thinking about it.
