Should be whispering orchid😀
The floral note, which is probably created by assorted resins and incense ingredients, and not likely from orchids, is subtle in this stick........
the apices are stronget.
Nice aroma though.

Shoyeido - Golden Pavillion, am burning 2 incenses at a time lately, have finished off 3 lots. Feels good to actually my collection go down in size
I have a fair whack of Indian (and Tibet) incenses but I'm never reaching for these - always Japanese with the odd oud/sandalwood from JK or IO thrown in from time to time

These Tarakan sticks are so true to its region and Dr Incense has done a fabulous job in creating this masterpiece.
Even if u smell the stick without the burn u can clearly get the whiff of the Tarakan profile wood ... top quality

True Ouddict
It's a simple one. Lichen+Spruce resin. After grinding them together the mixture gets an interesting green color. And the scent is really unique. Not sweet at all, spicy sharp, really takes you into the alpine forests from where the ingredients came.

Plenty of Shoyeido signature scent here, but it is paralleled by plenty agarwood scent as well.

It is the Premium’s older packaging, they were boxes that had a silk covering. Same size, same amount of sticks, but now they come in the boxes that you have.
