likely it’s the spicy or Hakasui Vietnamese.

initially on low heat revealed sweet Vietnamese with a touch of fruit juice,
then on medium high for an incense effect.

It is an electric plug-in type.
Good for small pieces only.
I also have the Shoyeido battery powered model, but I don’t recommend it, it’s only good for a very tiny piece.

Yamadamatsu Kouboku Senshu Kyara

It leaves a heavy scent of Kyara in the air, but it’s mixed with some refreshing natural scents,
Indonesian Styrax Benzoin comes to mind.

Thanks. I was hoping that the battery powered one was a winner. I missed out on Kyarazen’s new heater so I’ve been on the look out for something similar.

The battery heater is a mixed bag. Good for very high grade woods that you would heat gently, Japanese appreciation style, sharing with friends. Worthless for scenting a room or anything like that. Wish the heat range was wider - lower low and slightly higher high. Batteries run out fast - that’s the worst part.

The Kyarazen website has blueprints to make a subitism heater. You can always improvise. I have all the parts to build one but guess what.... I had those parts since January 2018, and I still have not put it together😕😕😕😕
I keep telling myself “someday soon”, hopefully I will assemble it before this year ends

Haha. I know what you mean! I may tackle that in the future. It’s just so convenient to buy one that’s ready to go. Hopefully, Kyarazen re-releases their new battery powered heater with improvements to the silver concave plate to allow larger pieces.
