Burn of the Day

[Oudamberlove]

Baieido Kunsho

Made with Cambodian agarwood
not like oud oil, and the agarwood is subtle,
but I enjoy the woodiness.

[Oudamberlove]

Shoyeido Gaho

and a heating session with Kungyokudo Kayo
Kayo is definitely a higher grade of Hakuun
the sweetness is more robust
it’s gotta be old stock Vietnamese.

If you want to try Hakuun:

Nippon Kodo Kyara Asuka

The Vietnamese agarwood really comes through with this stick.
Plus, I really dig the perfume, it’s like a fusion of old school with new age😕

Did anyone get lucky with the Monkoh set which KZ is releasing? Seems most of it is preorder and there is a queue to get the preorder link [emoji848]

had many different incenses burning, now put a large piece of LMK's Upper Assam wood on to scent the room. I've not been burning too much wood lately and have a ton of it so need to burn more!
This is really nice, low priced too representing good value for money 🙂

If you've got any wood to clear them I'm all open. Need to fill my boxes for burning up again.

Yeah, I was fortunate to snag one after sending a FB message last evening. Hats off to KZ for his non-greedy benevolence. The kit is a wonderful learning opportunity.
Today was also the day I received some awesome Wild Pursat double super. Hand carried back from overseas. 😛

Gyokushodo Kaze No Sho
very satisfying agarwood incense stick
in fact, the entire No Sho series are nice

Shoyeido’s Southern Wind. Marvelous, I got the 135 pack for $450.

[Mr.P]

$450!

[Joe]

Yes but a member, Dan, just told me how to get Japanese prices for these incenses. If I only knew a month ago as I spent $1,800 on incense.

On the burner
Kungyokudo Kayo
ground in a pepper mill,
laid-out on a mica sheet,
initially on low heat revealed sweet Vietnamese with a touch of fruit juice,
then on medium high for an incense effect.

[Oudamberlove]

Notice how the ground wood darkens after heating.
Thats Resin Baby!!

[Sproaty]

wow I need to try this with some incense sticks. I'll try it with my cheaper ones 😛
Am burning Baieido Kobunboku and have a chip by Imperial Oud on the heater. Foolishly I can't remember where this oud is from....Vietnam perhaps....hmm!!

Today when I get home I am going to burn Shoyeido Souther Wind, then Fun-in sandalwood, then Shoyeidos infinity and translucent path. Unless I change my mind. Sometimes I obsessively burn nippon Kodos Fragrance memories.

[Oudamberlove]

I will be smokeless till Friday🙁
Due to a scheduled Vacation🙂
