Kyukyodo Sho Bai Koh

Moderately priced,
but I feel that the agarwood inside is of a nice variety, speaking of nice agarwood…
I wish I had some of the Papua New Guinea
that Ken uses in his sticks…it’s precious🥰

Kida Jinseido Ikuhokoh

The use of Chenpi (orange peel)
is evident.
I’d say it makes the aroma interesting,
and the wheels in my head can see
other recipes using this ingredient.

Horizontal here, getting my ass kicked by the Moderna booster vaccine, a passable excuse to burn Emperor Li’s sleeping incense ( by dr.Incense) during the day
Quite a beautiful aroma, isn't it?
I get some pear scent when sniffing the sticks together but not so much when burning the stick. But it's almost as if the after-taste/effect of the pear is felt in the air when the stick is burning.

That'll be the nano bots....they do that...🤣
But seriously...recover soon....

Homemade Mysore sandalwood.

70% non-sinking 50ish y.o sandalwood from @AbasFrag, 30% 楡根皮(skin of Japanese Elm tree root)
extruded in 1.5mm diameter. it came out quite nicely. though I didn't get them straight. 😗 making sticks straight is harder than I thought.

it gives off a strong sweet scent that I find quite pleasant. but it doesn't have enough milky scent.

I think I could use fewer binders next time.
