Busted out some KZ sticks today but I don’t remember the name. They were a part of the Kangitten drops.

I smell Vietnamese and maybe Cambodian in the blend along with ambergris. Anyone remember the name of this one? The box has a blue sticker on it. The stuff is incredible. Musky, deeply resinous, cooling, with a gorgeous Attar-like quality to it. It literally smells like an Attar blend but I know it’s just Agarwood and ambergris.

Homemade incense stick.

the main ingredient is Al Hashimi's sinking Brunei oud(45%). along with that, I added slippery elm(20%), sandalwood(17%), charcoal(10%), clove(5%), borneol(3%).

I made it because I have only small amount of oud left(3 gram) and wanted to experiment with it.

sadly I couldn't manage to get the sticks straight because the weather is too dry. the sticks dried too quickly, resulting in wilted look.

but the smell came out just fine. little too smokey, probably because I added too much charcoal and clove. but it mostly like the original Brunei Ghattas, which smells vanilla, honey, white florals.

Burned a bit of Yamadamatsu's Konoe-Oji.
I’m EXTREMELY jealous and very curious both what you think of it and how the hell you got it!

I’m taking notes over here…

Enjoyed a sandalwood cone from RBO last night, an addicting aroma unlit, quite smoke-y while lit, the post burn scent has lingered around for about 8 hours, veiling the room in a delicately cool, and herbal sandalwood. Somehow feels traditional but not generic, additional ingredients accentuate sandalwood rather than take away from it.
