Mon-koh session with Seijudo, Kyara Enju, put the stick out when I used 3 quarters of it, this size of stick when I next use it will just be in my hand instead of a holder, I think I may do this with every Enju stick, even my last full one, which I will put in the holder for 2-3 mins then hold it until I want to put it out. Anyway, I really wish I could articulate the experience of this with someone in words, but the scents, "minty, bitter, sour, salty, sweet", are more than lackluster for this stick.
But here we go. It starts off with a piercing, but soft and well rounded "mintiness" (it's hard to call it mint, but it is mint, but it is like Gods mint, it does something with your soul), and bounces around the place, often, in a seemingly disorganized way, but (IMO) these sticks are like the wild agarwood of incense sticks and normal (even if they used wild aloeswood) Japanese sticks are the plantation of incense. The disorganization is like a wild agarwood piece. I was getting notes of premium, high quality oud (the true meaning of it, wood), with the mint backbone, sourness jumping up then going into an undertone then going away, sour coming up then bitterness, bitterness going undertone then going away, then sour and sweet would mix then sour would go undertone and go away and sweet and honey notes would be left, with some florals jumping about, but because there is so many notes jumping about and being played, stopping, starting very fast but also in a very fluid way as if someone is doing a dance while high on acid, OR your on acid and you are looking at the slow fractals, the notes of the Kyara used were fast in (this) reality, but had a fluidity of slowly moving fractals.
IDK man, I am gonna try other Seijudo premium sticks when I can, they are just pure old school Vietnamese wood, and go for £50 to £80 for a tube of 15. My next Seijudo tube/sticks will be Kohshu, Fleet of Scents.
