no but i am thinking about it. i was thinking to mix more kyara into some shoyeido sticks etc..ideas like this. not sure anything would change
but also thinking about agarwoodn kyara blends
Ohhhh, I think you should do it, brother. I would love to try some of your incenses and blends etc

You could also make really high quality CK sticks. You could get purple Kynam, Green Kynam, and Black Kynam and get the KZ Kynam reference bottles which are 5g black and 5g dark body round leaf, and make a blend of all of those into sticks

Once you get really good at it you could make limited editions with WILD kyara?
I doubt I will be doing that. I won’t be wasting precious kyara maybe just try and source some entry grade kyara for a project. And then if it goes well I could make a couple super precious sticks to gift close friends

Yes, just get entry level wild Kyara and make limited edition sticks once you get good at it, would be interesting. Wouldn't need to use a lot and just make like, 30-50 sticks, for 3-5 boxes once a year like KZ. Become the new KZ 🤣.

Dr. Incense, "Azure Dragon". The sticks have matured over the past month, I am excited to see how much more they evolve. The ginseng is melding into the other spices, beautiful harmony.
I have noticed the same! How long do you think it is worth waiting for to reach there best? Have very little knowledge on incense sticks!

you forgot to include the logo on your car's steering wheel in the photo for the social prestige 😂
How thankful so am to life for not making me this person lmao I see people on the street feeling special because they drive fancy cars it’s so sad. I have a normal car cost 17,000 back then, it is a KIA and I had it since 2004 and it has never had an issue and so far I have only just changed a fridge, some tires and breaks. Best car ever! There goes that social prestige lol

are the sticks the same as non silk box or is it some added touches to the sticks?
The silk box versions are not a variation, they’re just the type of packaging used before their current packaging for the premiums. I believe you have the even older packaging of Sho-kaku.

When I compare the silk box version of Myo-ho to the later batch, I notice quite a difference. Same with Sho-kaku and Go-un. The older ones seem to have more kyara, but the other aromatics seem to have aged a bit, not as sparkling as the newer batches.

Here’s my collection

ha, I used to be on some Facebook fragrance groups and you'd see people showing their SOTD in their car of Roja and other expensive 'niche' but would always show their Merc or BMW logos in the pic too 🤣

I drive an old 2008 Vovlo and it's great, only 37k miles too! I call it the Sproat boat cause it's bloody huge and has the turning circle of a barge

Last night I burned 'The sweet south: Vietnam & Laos' by Craft Incense during a bath, and then Indonesian Maluku stick from The Attar Store while reading before bed
good stuff
