How's the baieido?? Isn't that their very top of the line stick? Last time i smelled that was the version they were selling in 2001 - I am guessing they would keep this one pretty much as is. Pretty much the purest and the cleanest presentation of kyara that I have experienced in a stick.
Gotta try this.
The premium line is far more advanced.

Here’s mine:

[Ouddict.com] Incense of the Day

Shoyeido - Gaho Refinement. First time I burnt one of these it was very agarwood forward but this time I'd be hard put to tell the difference between this and some of the others from the premium line.

Same batch or is this comparing a new batch to an older batch?

I'm listening to YM’s Firebird Select Hounoukoh Gokuhin granulated incense on my burner. It like high heat! It was recommended to me by the owner of japanincense. He recommended less expensive granulated incense that I'm going to check on.

Eight Milleniums
Lovely stick, it's heavy scent with some cold notes like "saffron"
Great blend but i don't see it for everyone, i'm sure many of people won't be able to handle it's power and thickness.
I find it more of middle eastern style more than Japanese style.
I tried KZ’s first batch of Eight Milleniums many years ago, it was quite agarwood forward and I did get the saffron, I think I should try the new one.

I enjoy Minorien’s Fu-in granulated incense aloeswood blend, although we all have our preferences, so I can’t guarantee you’ll like it.

I used to love Ten-Pyo but not anymore. Once mine is gone I won’t be buying anymore. That has happened to so many Japanese incenses and a recent Kyukyodo Sho Bai Koh that I recently opened is now a let down also. Barely has any agarwood note in it and it’s basically a sandalwood incense now.
