I'm not sure I've smelled a stick with musk in it, very curious about how it smells in that context!Lokuttara - Dr. Incense
A batch from a few years ago. Oud, musk, ambergris.
Doesn't get much better than this
What does musk smell like when burned? Interesting.I'm not sure I've smelled a stick with musk in it, very curious about how it smells in that context!
In this one, the oud and ambergris are the stars of the show. The musk adds a touch of sweet earthiness and probably accentuates the radiance of the incense.I'm not sure I've smelled a stick with musk in it, very curious about how it smells in that context!
This is your first post? Who is Munira? What has this to do with Incense of the day?
Hi Woody, sorry I missed this message before. Correct we use real ambergris. We also have ambergris raw material if you want that too hah.Deep Red x Ambergris from TASFragrance is nice but I wondering if it's real ambergris in the blend. Probably wouldn't buy this but it's nice to get a try of it.
I agree, although I haven't really tried combusting much. I received some pressed green CK sticks from kyarashrine as free samples - they were quality in the sense of being what they were advertised as but I did not find the aroma to be something that I was interested in. I burned a part of one and another one that I received is still sitting there in the tube it came in. Probably better to put it on the subitismGreen Kynam sticks - Kangiiten. I've decided I cannot burn cultivated kynam in stick form ever again. As a chip the scent is very nice and will fill a room easily but as @DubOudh said above it's very one diemensional which is fine. As a stick, extruded or pressed I can no longer handle it. In fact it's started to give me headaches. It has an almost piercing quality to it as if it's screaming at you or something. I can't believe I used to enjoy them (or was I just pretending to)? Warmed up on a heater of some kind = nice, warm and sweet. Burnt = NO.
I have the Kyara Enku incense and I don't care for it. Its not special. Would love to smell it as a chip though.Green Kynam sticks - Kangiiten. Yeah ok..those sticks are made with green kyara oil as well. Really not into the whole dipping sticks into oil for combustion myself but it is very common practice. I imagine these sticks would smell VERY strong.I have the Kyara Enku incense and I don't care for it. Its not special. Would love to smell it as a chip though.
