"Softly falling cherry blossoms" Tenkundo. To think that this was an online purchase which is rarely this quality is pretty shocking. Of course the price was logical for 1g and the Tenkundo named kyara is extremely rare to come across, so I didn't hesitate to pull the bazooka triger and got lucky because the seller was selling out of the special things he was listing within minutes of being listed so I was very lucky for this piece.

Sugar-knot-crystalized-oil but also has very soft buttery spots on it also. As I shaved some for a session it felt like there was sand in between the wood fibers in different spots and other spots were soft like hard buttery almost rubber like so there is different texture. The room temp aroma is cherry blossoms and vintage old library like air in a good way, sweet and faint kind of spice. On the heater there is too much fighting to be recognized, with more sessions more is revealed.

Shy elegance. Cherry blossoms hijacking the world. It is wild how bright the wood is in higher light compared to how much darker it looks to the naked eye. Woke up excited early today with one thing on my mind. A FAT SESSION! Good day to all!

Fusen redsoil from tsu starting yamadama. I decided to clean it a bit to remove some of the dirt and decay. I threw it on the kinam heater 60c....nothing....80c....nothing, 90c faint, 120 a tad bit stronger....140, same nothing special......so i did what any of us would do and thre it on the subitism, well for me my pyrex stove which has 0-400c and put it on 60-120 and WOW. strong cherry and spices very faint frankincense and rose. the room filled big time with just a little powder.

last batch i got from yamadamatsu was working more on the kinam heater but this one has much nicer aroma. another thing to note, my nostrils and beard smelled like black cherry candy woodyness and cinnamon for at least 2hours

Vintage 1995 Malaysian "Kinam". I haven't tried it on the Kinam heater yet, I will when I havent smelled any incense at all for the next 2 hours since I have burned some Wild Sabah (A. microcarpa) on coal since it needs high heat but also large pieces on the coal. I dont think this is Kyara but I do think it is very high grade Malaysian wood, and possibly a Rikkokugomi wood and definitely looks Monkoh grade for sure, from looking at it, I am thinking it is high grade top shelf wood, and a very respected person here thinks it looks very nice also. Very nice wood from @Nur Irfan:

Btw Irfan did not sell this to me on Ouddict, he has his own Instagram page for this. This sale did not take place on Ouddict.

How much/large of the Sabah woods did u put on charcoal 😳… sounds like a huge piece (2g?5g?10g?)

Ok so I recently got a batch of wood, 1 nha trang, one hainan and a yellow soil. this is the yellow soil...compared to the other two it looked like crap...but....on the kinam heater on 60-120c.......... super thick creamy vanilla orange cake spice resin with a resinous orange blossom resinous note........extremely loud and thick super rich resinous vanilla, extremely creamy unlike anything i have ever smelled, again EXTREMELY CREAMY, with a very creamy vanillic orange cake that seems very smooth and not bright but thick and spice to it that is not really a spice but the combination of notes i mentioned all together that represent themselves to my nose as a whole bag of notes and spice and it is such a perfect match with that crazy cakey creaminess. i then put it on my stove at 140 and let it sit there 30mins i had my face on top inhaling the fumes. then i put it on 180 and let it just fumigate the whole room....whole room smells like this....this wood has surpassed all my agarwood dreams. my beard smells strongly of it still, as if i have it in perfume and sprayed it on my beard. i was walking the dog earlier and i couldnt stop smelling my mustache. i cleaned this wood also today with a chisel and a wire brush and my hand smelled like the wood for at least 3hours. the powder that was comming off and sticking to my hand probably.

THE EFFECTS THO 🥲.....i have bad news for all those claiming that agarwood is not make you feel anything. the effects of this are 100% psychedelic relaxing comfort blanket that lasted some 7 hours and i am now left feeling tired and sleepy but still so extremely comforting like i am in bed and it is a moment when we wake up early some day for work and only realize we have a day off and can sleep more and then in this comforting feeling we close our eyes and fall back asleepp but in our sleep there is a part in us that knows we fell back asleep and it is so comforting and warm. extremely emotional wood, made me feel so much fuzzy warm emotions, it was so relaxing i couldnt get excited like how kyara does. the effects were upon me so strongly and i couldnt believe it and thinking to myself that this isnt possible to have such effects, but it was there, clearly there for hours as if i took a substance. this agarwood must naturally contain some opioids there is no doubt in my mind. i was listening to music and was getting goosebumps and thinking the music sounds so much better as if it was cannabis. this wood is unbelievable. just unbelievable to me.

so anyway a lot of pictures with different lighting, i hope you enjoy them. some of them are horrible quality but ok

The nha trang. It smells strong even on 60c on the kinam heater. the aroma is a classic nha trang clear crystal beauty but also has a bit of coconut notes. i have not done a whole session of this yet. i smelled it a couple minutes and was extremely charming aromatic! 5g chunk of heaven!!

Nice - looks like it has been around for a while/passed through many hands!

It's always interesting reading your responses to these really high-quality woods. It's nice to know that there's all this amazing stuff out there that I haven't experienced…. I have burned a fair bit of wood but my energy has been focused in the liquid scents, and not with the focus on quality that you have. hearing you talk about it feels kind of like reading a book that you love and hearing somebody else getting jazzed about how great the sequel is… A wonderful feeling to know you have a whole follow up adventure waiting for you when the time is right

its crazy because i asked a couple friends if they wanted to split with me since the 3 pieces together were around 12-15grams if i remember correctly, and no one wanted in but i had a strong feeling about them and decided to jump in alone. now i feel like i hoarded all the powers of the agarwood world lol i mean i am all about splitting woods so i can have 1-2 g since i use so little but these feel like they are on another level on their own so it just feels like i was unlucky for the split but ultimately beyond lucky for the woods.

looking forward to expanding my horizons in the world of oud woods I’ve mostly experienced cultivated woods from Thailand or Vietnam which i don’t actually mind the fruity berry type scent they bring but I’m looking to maybe get into more woods from other regions.

If only the Australian economy would improve 😭

Ahh! Another Ozzie! I'm in Brisbane. Dude I feel your pain so much. Sooo many things I would buy in a hot minute if I didn't have to convert to USD first and THEN add shipping to Aus which is often nuts as well. The only thing I can say is if you do find something from a vendor on here and you're not in a massive hurry to get it you can ask if the vendor has a cheaper shipping option than the usual Fedex which they usually do so that can help somewhat towards lowering the final total. Other than that we have to wear the extra cost on already expensive products. Have you had a look at Grandawood? He's here in Brisbane.

I have purchased a lot from Trent at Grandawood he has been incredibly generous with his business.

His stuff is mostly cultivated woods and oils but for what they are I find them very nice and affordable with good quality.

Definitely a good place for a beginner to start.

We are based in Australia and we also do invoice in AUD, via paypal. That way you don't have to pay conversion fees. We did try to give more savings to Aussies but that turned out to be a disaster because people couldn't balance their expectations with their pockets. So now it's just a straight conversion based on the app ex.

Our shipping to Australian states is also unbeatable.
