Members,
As I understand and except for Habz786 recommendation, Stacy specifically asked for a certain inquiry quoted above. It seems that she already aware of the well-known venders and she didn’t ask about that. Can you please stick with her request?

Hi! I appreciate all kinds of comments, I love to sample and try all kinds of things! I appreciate everyone commenting and sharing their recommendations!

welcome aboard Stacy

Thank you for the welcome! I like the Rasa Hutan Malinau and Al Shareef II Al Shareef I cannot put into words why I love the way they both smell.

Oops! forgot to mention agarwoodindonesia.com. Pretty much everything cooked by him is an enjoyment to wear publicly. He also offers samples and his oils are reasonably priced. If you like Rasa Hutan Malinau you will mostly like his oils.

Interseting choices Stacy as these two oils have nothing much in common LOL!

Lol, I love the way I feel when I wear them! Thank you for the recommendations.
I will look around the website!

Hi all! After lurking on Basenotes for years and then joining, I lurked here since this site's inception and thought I'd join now too. I'm a sandalwood and frankincense lover that also appreciates agarwood (burning some nicely resinated Hakusui from Baieido right now, actually). Actually, I think I have a sandalwood obsession. I'm in Chicago, where our temps are finally above freezing after the nasty polar vortex hit. At this point in my hobby I have a couple of kilos of sandalwood (wood) from various species in the Santalum genus as well as a bit of wood of the sister genus Osyris and maybe eight to ten ounces of the oil from many different sandalwood species. This doesn't include the real sandalwood incense I have filling multiple drawers in my home. My agarwood collection is small, and includes wood and oil, wild and cultivated. I really like Hindi oils, but my budget doesn't allow me to indulge in oud very often. This site has really blossomed. Gaharu is a fun read too; it's nice to have so many people that love scents of nature contributing. Nice to read all of the stories on this thread, too.

Welcome here Santal Claus ! Classy nickname !

We are confident that you will have nice times here since there are franckincense and sandalwood lovers too !

As far as I'm concerned, I'm starting my santal journey and while I write to you, some natural Ceylon with alba oil is curing in the living room ;p

Welcome aboard Santal

Hello and welcome Santal Claus,
You'll find many Sandalwood lovers here at Ouddict,
myself being one of them. My day always includes a swipe or two or three or four of Oud😕 followed by a swipe of Sandalwood oil in the evening/before bedtime🙄

welcome mr santal claus. im sure your experience will be valuable knowledge for everyone. instead of delivering toys and other items, do you only give sandalwood as gifts?! 😉
