EO Jungle Kinam Pure Parfum

This scent has a split personality, which I quite enjoy. Marshmallow-y herbaceous bitterness from a well blended kinam and dark patchouli - it lives up to the name, smelling suitably damp and jungly. On the other hand, there are sweet blue and purple flowers, particularly lavender, which brighten the composition. In all honesty, if you're a drinker, and you enjoy a nice Italian Amaro, you'll know exactly what to expect, before even opening the bottle - there are elements of Averna and Fernet Branca in here that you'll enjoy. On the other hand, I was expecting a trasformative experience from this scent, and what I got was simply very good. So, ironically, I enjoy wearing this, and it's also turned me off of EO fragrances. Weird, huh?

Kashi by Tabeer Oud.

Co distillation of Oud(Nagaland I guess) + Sandalwood from the South of India, I guess brother Umair mentioned that the wood was all collected from one region Mysore this time. If I remember it right, he said he used the same wood for this.

Opening - First swipe, very bitter smell. Cant be just the Oud the blend of Oud and Santal. First thought, I don't think I am going to like it, that bitter smell is not very pleasant to me. Just a few mins later, the bitterness goes away and the Oud and Santal play back and forth. Oud, followed by Santal, followed by Oud, followed by Santal.. and it goes on for a while. A mild undertone of sweetness, I am guess from the Sandalwood.

This is my first experience with Oud + Sandalwood co distillation and I am not dis appointed, its mild, pleasant and a unique experience for me.
I liked Royal Bengal Oud agarwood and sandalwood co distilation.

Dina's Yasmina by Yaseen from Etsy. Insta handle is yaseen.llc.

This is a very very intoxicating jasmine focused scent. There are multiple types of jasmine and the result is spectacular.

It's had the most relaxing effect on me after I've put it on. The projection is mild and mostly a scent bubble. I had a sample of this. Can decide if I should get full bottle of it for my wife or for myself...

Sandalwood Oil Day:
Sandal Oil by Dr Parasun
Ramah Ceylon Sandal by Habzoud

Sandal Oil 36 by Ziyad (Pure Aroma)
Sandal Tmor by Al Hashimi

No doubt all are so beautiful! But the oil by Dr Parasun is fragrant live wire. Maybe its being fresh is the reason behind its being exceptionally vibrant and long lasting. Though top notes are replete with copper, but the heart and base notes are breathtakingly Sandaleen. The rest smell to be its younger siblings.

This is the latest batch of sandal, distilled not long before. Its copper tone has camouflaged its Mysorean kick, and has turned it to more Indian Cylonian than Mysorean. But it is no flaw at all as the mastery of distillation is evident from the crystal clear and delicate oil and fragrance of the oil.

Ramah, Ziyad's and Santal Timor are aged a bit and oxidized too. So, the scent is quite deep and balanced.

I love this very moment when Santal has blanketed me.

Mysore oil from the soap company underneath with a full body slathering of the “wedding cake” cannabis strain on top

Working in the heat harvesting my crop with wafts of sandalwood mixing in the air has given me inspiration for my next
“ 2 scents “ co-distillation
“Cana-sand”
I think I have just enough Mysore to make it happen

Le Rayon Vert (SPA): Reminds me of (h)orboroi (Malay gooseberries) that I used to have during my high-school time in the 90s. I used to have it with red chilli powder/flakes & salt. Fond memories. LRV is essentially a white floral composition where it is expertly spliced and cut with intense green materials - (to my nose) mainly by Hyacinth, galbanum, mugwort/artemesia/wormwood (don't think they're same) and oakmoss. Wearing my greens more frequently these days.
