A personal blend of Brahmaputra (Tabeer Oud) and some aged musk oil....very soothing and addictive.
[Ouddict.com] Attar/Mukhallat of the Day

Emperor’s Court by Dixit and Zak

very interesting oriental Amber scent.

Strong, powdery amber with fennel and spice for days. The Hindi oud is slightly pickled/sour so the opening is bit chaotic and feels almost savory before reaching a pleasant vintage ambery heart. Lots of tenacity with this fragrance it’s pretty intense.

The drydown is a nice powdery vanilla and sandalwood. Overall a different experience than what we’ve seen from them but if you’ve smelled Naaz’s Attar Niyamat made by Zak it’s almost identical.
I have been sniffing it a lot over the past day on a strip, and I have to say, I really like it. I could be off, but it smells very French to me, like Shalimar. Most likely, this is because of the strong vanilla and balsamic notes.

It's almost like an olfactory conversation - from Middle Eastern perfuming traditions, to their French interpretation, and back. Very cool.

I completely agree! It’s like a vintage “oriental Amber” scent especially with the powdery musks and sweet powdery vanilla. To me it smells exactly how you described. Which is interesting because you can see where the French found their inspiration in classical Indian mulkullats.

Got a sample of Monsieur Oud from Ensar, figure this goes here. The osmanthus is strong on this one - midsection is humming along like a honeyed pollen-covered bumblebee in an oud forest. It reminds me of the Osmanthus Attar from RPP but with (logically) more backbone and complexity. Not really my genre, but I can see it as a lighter wear for warmer weather.
