Eo Jamaican ambergris maroke sq
I have the Pinoy LTD version of JA, it's lovely perfume but to much ambergris for me Lol
Also I don't wear it as much as I thought when I first got it. I have tried your version as well (JAMSQ) and I liked it more, the oud here modify the sweetness and added more depth and smoky vibes which in my opinion is better choice than the Pinoy LTD.

ASO Al Bayt Al Ateeq II
Beautiful sophisticated scent.
Opens as green camphoric, sweet rose, maybe some rose stem, had a powdery talc like note with obviously animalic notes like musk and sparkling ambergris, then a beautiful well blended resinous leathery smoky oud.
what vibe did the scent give off? how did you feel when you smelt it?

@Saudalhajri

"Overall and to keep things short and bring a close to the mind comparison: if respected the blends brother’s @An Najwa were To be worn by kings and princes, the blends of MOSAFIR are suitable to a Zahid or a hermit living in the mountains meditating, or a seeker of knowledge roaming the earth solo. Not to say one is better than the other god forbid, but that each have their own touch in their creation, and their own effect on me."

I just wanted to say that this was a really beautiful comment ❤️

thank you for your insight brother. How would you compare this to any of ASQ's oils? thoughts on king abdullah blend?
They don’t come close. ASQ blends are far inferior to attars from Al Shareef.

I tried a lot of the top tier ASQ blends. They’re nice. Overpriced for what you’re getting. Nothing special. Not balanced. Possibly some synthetics in them.

They don’t come anywhere close to Bayt Al Ateeq, Ghaliyah II, Zumurrud, Yaqoot, Khalouq, Layl etc etc.

Wow, thank you for your honest input ❤️
I wish ASO could go easy on the price, I mean comparing 3ml of theirs to 3ml of regular perfume houses, the price is so far off the charts that it could not be easily accessible but I guess the scent must be out of this world.

A bit of @Faizal_p Imperial Ghaliya - some thing I have worn a couple of times but have been meaning to revisit.

Spray has a nice thick oily feel, classic rose-musk-ambergris type accord, light tantalizing rose notes, some peppery/spicy aspects, and a nice animalic base In counterpoint. Very nice!

Like @Arabiad07 said, ABAA II is one of the finest attars you can buy. That’s why it costs more, because of the materials that went into it and the artistry with which it was made.

To me it’s a bit solemn, spiritual and very beautiful. The dry down contains the most beautiful incense.

It's the next day here and I'm still smelling this blend on my arm! Wild tenacity

Which is why I seldom if ever wear mukhs since starting my own projects. I can't have mystery blends on my skin that last 24 hours because it makes it very difficult to progress on my own work. It's like self-induced blindness and I feel like I give superficial/low quality feedback on Mukhallats. In order to understand a blend like this you have to experience it multiple times and given the amazing tenacity of the ambergris and musk base, it would take a week or so of daily wear to tune in to the subtleties and give this perfume the attention it really deserves.

These ghaliyas have a strong residue that clings to fabric and kind of blooms a bit, it's a wonderful characteristic of these blends but a challenge if you need to keep a clear palate. I'm having a hard time today sorting out some things that I'm trying to test

I should add that if this duration is the work of ambergris and musk in combination, it is truly impressive! Just wild seeing these things in action being used the way they were intended!

Jasime perfume from WabiSabiKouki or @Mr.P

First application reminded me of EO Borneo Zen opening note. Not too overpowering or mild. It has perfect balance which I like in any Jasmine based attar/perfume. Very floral and saturated scent.
Makes sense. Borneo Zen is very heavy in Jasmine.

I don't like BZ though. I think the jasmine he uses is not very good, unless there is some other ingredient that is clashing and ruining it.

I understand but here the concentration is balanced and people who love jasmine will truly appreciate the scent. I see many people still struggle finding the right balance and it only comes with as doing many iterations as possible. It takes time and experience and of course the quality of material also matters.

Good to hear. I love jasmine, but I just think it's used poorly in BZ. Seems like it could be done well if the process was given more attention. I have tried to do a Borneo oud and jasmine attar myself because I like the idea, but I haven't been successful yet after a couple of tries.
